LAYOVER 2026 is an overnight student build event at TinkerSpace Calicut where students come together to create something around travel. There’s no fixed problem statement and no restrictions on technology. Build an app, AI experience, hardware prototype, game, experiment, or something completely weird and unnecessary. Teams can work solo or in pairs, with the challenge running from 6 PM to 9:30 AM, followed by demos and judging. The overall winning team gets a fully covered trip to Dubai. Participation is free and open to students.
